With the stated aim of "Making a difference together" www.catholicireland.net launched this website specifically for Lent 2007.

It invites visitors to join a daily journey through Lent to pray, think and act together on line. Homilies for all the Sunday readings are available together with suggested daily deeds, including practical things to do to help the environment and in your local community. Basic information on Lent and the Easter triduum, links to prayer requests and live broadcasts are also available.

Daily prayers and a pictorial meditation will provide resources for individuals, families, parish groups, or schools.

There is also a special section entitled Transform with suggestions for Working together in parish community and Reconciliation with ideas about the concept and the sacrament.
